Hi All
Happy Easter.
With the holiday I have been installing a two man system.
Final stages now😂
I have a long lead from my leisure battery to my original controller ( red and black) fuse fitted near the battery.
Do you think I could take the power for the second controller etc off this feed or should I have two independent circuits?
Many thanks.

That will depend on the thickness/amp rating of the cable and wiring used. If its good enough, then easy peasy, just split/spur off to a 2nd pump. If not, then some rewiring may be needed!

Personally I would wire the second pump from the battery (via fuse close to battery). That way if a pump blows a fuse then it doesn't take out both pumps.
If you are using the original controller wiring make sure it is up to taking twice the current, don't just put a bigger fuse and assume the existing cable is capable of taking twice the current!

That makes so much sense, thanks.
Both are separate now.
Must admit gave me a buzz when my son did the backs and I did the fronts of our house as a trial, everything worked well and with an earlier hose recommendation from the forum it looks great.
V16 controller is impressive.

I have 2 pumps and 2 reels wired up to a leisure battery. All separately wired to negative and positive. Never had any problems with cutting out. Charged every night to keep the battery in tip top condition.

how do them fuse holders work do you just connect wire to end holes

No you'll need to crimp on female connectors

The fuse holder has 2x male spade connectors one each end. you'd need to simply crimp two wires with blue insulated female connectors 6.3mm Blue Fully insulated Female Lucar spade crimp terminals connectors (50pack) Free UK Delivery https://amzn.eu/d/ahqdQLJ

Why do you recommend 2 pumps etc ?? Is there a advantage

I’ve ran 2 men off 1 pump for as long as we’ve had pole systems , 20 years or so without issues

That's an extremely poor way of doing a Job. Two poles at height or varying height will cause the lower pole to work better as the uppermost pole acts like an accumulator struggling to deliver the optimum flow of water as it just bleeds back to the shorter or lower pole.

You must of been driving the pump flat out
