Fitting not connecting

Please help. Can't connect Pressure washer fitting. See picture below.

We think one end is a usa fitting and the other as usa fitting

Any ideas please

You haven't added any photos or brand / descriptions of your machine for context.
The most common fittings are M22 however there are 1/2 - 3/8NPT etc
I guess you are referring to your high pressure to hose outlet?
