You must have a rolls royce work van with gold plated wheels. that quote as it's a right royal rip off
Is it an EV van?
VW Transporter with Grippatank system. Checked all comparison websites and few separate insurers and couldn't get any cheaper, Aplan was cheapest this year for me.

I deal with Pietro but just got a new van, without a tank as it's my Gutter van, and found Admiral cheapest on the new van, no no claims. Got them to quote for my Ducato, with an 800l tank in, and they were £70 cheaper than last years premium.
Assuming a 20% increase this would make them over £200 cheaper.

Just had a look on Compare the market for a Peugeot expert 2016 for me, and employee put as named driver, put 5000 miles per year, came to £1500 I must be doing something wrong 🤦‍♂️ or does this sound about correct these days?

I use a firm called snugg. They have been the cheapest for me now for two years in a row. Might be worth giving them a call

Got my cheapest quote through admiral, been with them for the van for 3 or 4 years now. Renewal was about £400, (which was £100 more than last year) rang them up to complain about the jump and get about £40 knocked off...
So why is my van insurance £800 for a 2008 Berlingo and that was from a comparison site with full no claims?

i happened to ring my insurance up a few weeks before renewal nothing to do with the renewal price [£700 ] and chatting about driving ,employees who drive or didnt want to etc turns out he didnt drive himself and had never wanted to apparently.Anyhoo he said let me see if i can get you a better quote,do it tmoro morn , im off to the beach [in the rain] but i will call you back.Next day he called and if i agreed it was now £241 . howsabout that then?
