Hi,
Found this forum and looked like best place to ask a question. Just had new sliding doors fitted in couple of places with powder coated aluminum frames. As builders still going strong used some blue glass protecting film which from reviews said doesn't leave residue even after 6 weeks, well after one week on removing found left sticky glue residue all over them. Spoke to supplier and he said not to use any sort of solvent due to the powder coated frames and to try warm soapy water which have done with no joy. Been looking at a number of window cleaning products that all seem to contain vinegar but can't find anything to say if that would harm the powder coated frames, guess is acidic but not sure. Any advice greatly appreciated,
Many thanks,
Loz
